Authors and editors shall uphold a mutual commitment to respecting each other's privacy, thereby mitigating the risk of copyright infringement, including but not limited to acts of duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.

The manuscript submitted must be an original work attributable to the submitting author(s), is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and/or has never been published in any other journals. Serat: Journal of Literature and Cultural Studies reserves the right to retract a publication in the face of proven fraud, or our editors may express concern if there is a substantiated suspicion of misconduct.
