It is somewhat rare for languages of the world to use nasal sounds fully, however, be that as it may,opera fully use these sounds in some instances. The purpose of this paper is to figure out how much of a liabilityand/or benefit singing with nasal sounds will give to singers of the opera that prompt them to use or not to usenasal sounds. This paper will go through a literary review, particularly on the correlation between nasal sounds,and other vocal instruments. Through this review, it is clear that singing with nasal sounds would hinder a singerability to sing professionally, because singing with nasal sounds resulted in sub-standard vibrato. This paperargues that except for some instances when sounding unprofessional is the norm, the usage of nasal sounds inopera should be avoided.Diterbitkan
